Aubrey is a transman who is transitioning in mid-life. Aubrey became involved with TransMentors by reaching out to Michael Brown. Aubrey and his twin transman brother having been without family were caught in a abusive situation in their former homestate. Given a place in the safehouse provided by Michael Brown and his wife Lillian gave Aubrey the stability and safety to begin transitioning. Being involved in the programme at the house also gave Aubrey a new lease on life,new tools to rebuild his life and a will to try and give back to the community that literally saved his and his sibling's life.
